Learning all about maps

Mrs. DeVane's kindergarten class at Schley County Elementary has been working on Maps and Globes in Social Studies.  The students have learned the ways maps and globes are used and completed a student booklet, "Me on the Map".  The students enjoyed learning what city, county, state, country, and continent that they live.  The students also learned about Christopher Columbus during this unit, and completed their own take home books about him.
